The New Year often comes with a mixed feeling of memories and emotions from all the happenings of the previous year. While some of us exit the year grateful for a perfect year, some of us are glad to end a year that has been nothing but a nightmare.

Please forgive me for giving too much time and attention to other things, for looking to other people before coming to you. I repent of all these Lord, and I confess my need for you…fresh…new…again. O Lord my God, I thank you for the gift of a new year. I thank you for divine healing and divine health last year. I confess my need for you this year. I need your healing and your grace. Forgive me for running all different directions and spinning our wheels to find help, when true help and healing must be found first in You. You see where no one else can fully see or understand, and I ask that you perfect your healing in my body this year. I ask for your healing and grace to cover every broken place. Every wound. Every heartache. Thank you that you can do far more than I can ever imagine. Thank you for your Mighty Power that acts on behalf of your children. I reach out to you and know that you are restoring and redeeming every place of difficulty, every battle, for your greater glory. I love you Lord, In Jesus Name I pray,

Prayer For A Spirit-Led Year​

God my heavenly Father, I choose to find my joy and strength in you this year. I choose to walk in love. I choose to set my eyes on you and off all the struggles and chaos of this world. I choose your peace over worry. I choose kindness over hurry. I choose forgiveness over disunity and. I choose your Spirit-filled power over-relying on my strength and ability. I know that my life is far from perfect, and the enemy would want nothing more than to take me straight down even before the year began.
