My Sweet Lord,
I bring my sister before You today.
As much as I want to, I have no power to shield her from the evils of life, except in the place of prayer. You're the only one I can trust with my sister. You're the only one who can truly protect her. You alone have the power to keep her safe from all the wiles of the enemy. Her life belongs to You and You alone.
Today Lord, I commit my sister to Your loving care and refuge.
Take her under your shield and protect her from all forms of evil intentions. Be her Defender against those who seek to bring her down. I ask that you guide and lead her in the right direction. And in times of trouble, be her Deliverer. I pray that you guide and protect her as she goes through life here. I ask that she abides under Your shadow.
I bring my sister under the unprecedented covering of Your blood. May her footsteps be ordered in You. The eyes of the enemy shall be blinded when she comes into view, and I declare that her life is fully covered in You.
Thank You, Lord, because I know she's safe, and that you care for her much more than I do.
