I love finding ways to feel God in my day, whether I’m going to work or cooking dinner. I make sure I’m connected to Him by listening to Bible stories, sermons, praying, and singing praise songs. All the apps I test are introduced into my everyday life so that I can feel their usability on a daily basis.
Mondays, in many places, are the start of the week. Some find it exciting to kick off a new week and see what God has in store for them, but others aren’t too thrilled about it. This is because Monday mornings are usually the most difficult times to wake up and hit the road after the long weekend.
But apart from being the start of the week, Mondays are actually pretty special by the Bible’s standards. It is called “Yom Shani” or the second day. On this day, God created the heavens by dividing the firmament from the waters.
In Christianity, we also celebrate Easter Monday which is the day after Jesus was resurrected. There’s also Holy Monday which is the second day of the Holy Week and the day after Palm Sunday.
So this week, try not to focus on your tiredness, busy schedule, messy house, burdens, or the list of ways you’ve failed and fallen. Rather focus on Jesus and how the new day isn’t a chore, but a gift from Him.
Dear believer, pave the way through the day and the new week with prayers. It is not just a way of receiving from God, but an act of worship and communion with Him.

Father God,
I thank You for waking me up on this beautiful Monday morning. Even though there is much to be done, I pray that You would help me not to be anxious, but to be encouraged by the presence of Your Holy Spirit within me.
Lord, I pray that today will be a productive and fruitful day. Help me to work diligently and heartily, knowing that all that I do is ultimately in service to You. Help me to use the gifts and talents you’ve given me to serve those around me in love.
Give me a positive, joyful attitude and the motivation and the energy I need to not only make it through the day but to cherish it.
Lord, whatever burdens are on my heart, I pray that You would help me cast them on You. Many things are out of my control, but God, I am trusting that You are sovereign over all. I am weak, but You are strong. Let me be an instrument for Your glory at all times, no matter the circumstances. I pray all of this in Jesus’ name. Amen..

Thank God for making me see this new week. You know that there may be struggles that I will go through. Walk beside me as I endure the challenges the week brings. Give me the strength I need to challenge it right back. May I walk in faith and strength.
This Monday morning, I pray that You give me the strength to be strong for You, amid all the temptations of this world.
I pray that You will be with me as I go through them. With You at my side, nothing will be impossible. Carry me when I am too weak. Make me an overcomer. Fill me with Your wisdom. Bless all that I lay my hands upon. In the end, let all the glory be returned to You.

This morning as I contemplate a new day, I ask You to help me. I want to be aware of your spirit leading me in the decisions I take, the conversations I have, and the work I do. I want to be more like You, Jesus, as I relate to the people I meet today, friends or strangers.
Everywhere I walk, let it be on Your path. Everything I see, let it be through Your eyes. Everything I do, let it be Your will. For every hardship I face, let me place it in Your hands. Every emotion I feel, let it be Your spirit moving in me. Everything I seek, let me find it in Your love.
Although I know that I am weak, I also know that by the power of Your spirit, I can be strong in my work, decisions, and words. I thank You that You have promised to be with me always.

I thank You for this day.
Help me to know and feel in the depths of my heart and soul that You are always with me.
Send Your angels to guard over me throughout this week, as You lead me into my divine purpose.
Thank You because You are guiding me, and I am safe.

Thank You for this is the day You have made. I will rejoice and be glad indeed. You have blessed me with a sound mind and health and have placed me on the path of purpose. Thank You, Lord, for my work, family, loved ones, and all those around me.
I thank You for my growth and experiences as I walk to please You daily. You have been with me through the dark and trying times and have danced with me when I had victory. I thank You for the tests and trials of the week, knowing that it is a new growth stage for me.
I thank You in advance for the tiring moments and the sleepless nights. Help me, Lord, handle all that life has for me with humility and grace this new week.

Dear Father,
Lord, I realize that You have given me work for Your good pleasure, and I must serve as a sacrifice unto You at my workplace. Lord, I pray that You help me to be accountable and honest in my work this week. Lord, I ask for direction and clarity as I make decisions and choices at work or school.
Help me to be gracious and helpful in my interaction with those around me. And when my work or study gets tedious and challenging, I ask that You will help me to be graceful and maintain my peace. I pray that You lead me to work hard without pretence as I serve You and humanity.
Thank You for always loving me.

Heavenly Father,
I give You thanks. Thank You for your faithfulness today. It's always a good day, because You are in control. Even when things may not go the way I plan, or when the world seems in chaos.
For all the times when I was aware of Your help today, all the times when Your unseen presence seemed so near, thank You, God. But for all the ways You worked behind the scenes, unknown to me, moments when heaven-sent angels moved on my behalf in ways I'll never know, I thank You too.
I ask that You'd watch over my sleep and my dreams. Let me arise with a song in my heart to face a new day and play my part in Your divine plan. Help me not to repeat the mistakes I made today. Whatever the time, You are right by my side.
