Loss is an inevitable part of life but still, nothing prepares us for the death of a loved one. Regardless of a long-time sickness being the cause or a sudden tragedy, we are still thrown off balance and into a wave of vulnerability and brokenness. Suddenly, we feel so open and lost. The loss of a loved one creates a hole in our hearts that leaves us empty. Truly, it's an irrecoverable loss accompanied by the now almost nonexistent liife we had with them.
It's necessary to pull ourselves out of this dark space. God is a safe space for us to bring our feelings of confusion, hurt, anger and pain to so he can heal us and strengthen our weakened hearts through the healing process. The scriptures are an important way we can go about healing the pain of the loss of a loved one. They shed light on our hearts and bring in hope that we long for.
We took your pain to heart and provided you with a list of powerful verses that are sure to bring light. While you grieve, share these scriptures with friends and family who are part of this loss or a friend who is grieving the loss of a loved one.
