I love finding ways to feel God in my day, whether I’m going to work or cooking dinner. I make sure I’m connected to Him by listening to Bible stories, sermons, praying, and singing praise songs. All the apps I test are introduced into my everyday life so that I can feel their usability on a daily basis.
Do you find it difficult to find your favorite passages in the Bible? With Prayer Prompter, you can store and organize Scripture passages and prayer requests into categorized folders. The app works as a drawer file cabinet and encourages Scripture-based prayer, providing easy access to key moments in the life of Jesus.
The goal of the platform is to provide easy access to texts of the Bible, which users can reflect on, return to, and meditate on the passages regularly. If you’re looking for an app to save your favorite Scriptures, Prayer Prompter can be an option.
“This app's main advantage is that it's free of charge, so anyone who wants to pray or requests to pray can do it quickly. The first impression of this app is not appealing, due to its basic interface and structure, but for basic needs, such as to pray with the help of technology, it may even work. I usually avoid solutions that bring stress into your conversation with God, but I do understand that sometimes we all need just a little bit of help to remind ourselves to thank God for the day, to express our feelings or worries, and to overcome our emotions. If that is your case and you’re unable to participate in paid solutions, this app could be an option as well.”

The app has an interesting proposal, but not a good execution. Prayer Prompter has a confusing interface and icons that would make users spend several minutes trying to figure out how to navigate the platform. There are a few extra buttons that direct you to nowhere, resulting in a bad user experience.
The folders are not easy to create, as well, since the settings aren’t detailed and make users not understand what actions must be performed to complete the action. It could’ve been a promising app, but Prayer Prompter didn’t include intuitive and user-friendly features.
The app offers more than 600 Scriptures passages, including emblematic ones, which are divided by topics, so you can read them according to the theme you choose, like adoration, confession, trust, supplication, thanksgiving and submission. You can also create new topics and organize content within the folders to read later.
Prayer Prompter also has folder options for you to fill in with your personal prayer requests, ministries where you served, and you can also use it as a daily journal.
The app is free, but if users want to contribute to the development, Prayer Prompter offers a donation page.
“This app offers all the tools to pray online, and connect with God. Blessify has an extensive variety of content: Bible stories, verses, and inspiring stories. The platform has a strong community to rely on, to comfort in tribulation times, and to encourage each other in faith.”
