I love finding ways to feel God in my day, whether I’m going to work or cooking dinner. I make sure I’m connected to Him by listening to Bible stories, sermons, praying, and singing praise songs. All the apps I test are introduced into my everyday life so that I can feel their usability on a daily basis.
Do you often say ‘I’ll pray for you’, but end up forgetting between your daily duties? My Daily Prayer & Devotion’s mission is to help you keep track of your prayers and intentions. The app shows a prayer to start the day with God’s blessing, and gives options to users to submit their prayers and share them with others.
It’s not an app for joining communities, praying together, accessing inspirational content, or listening to stories on your way to work. My Daily Prayer works simply for you to type your prayers and add them to your list.
“It's a basic app for praying. I love its simplicity and focus on prayer, but what’s utterly irritating to me are the advertisement pop-ups. It's easy to lose focus when you have so many distractions which are not related to God or to your intimacy within the prayers.”

Honestly, My Daily Prayer browsing is one of the worst I’ve seen. The app has an outdated design, confusing menu, and some of the icons don’t work. In addition, when you submit a prayer, you receive a notification saying “We will review it and add it to the current Prayer list!”. What list? There’s no icon in the app, so basically your prayer is lost in the app’s database.
My Daily Prayer has a very simple functionality: submit prayers and share today’s prayer with others. The app doesn’t provide users with religious inspirational content, nor audio stories or community. You may see more content coming from ads than the app itself.
In short: it’s not a recommended app for praying and connecting with God.
The app is free to use with many ads popping up on your screen. If you want to get rid of them, you can pay $0.99 per month - but maybe the ads are more interesting than the content in the app.
“This app offers all the tools to pray online, and connect with God. Blessify has an extensive variety of content: Bible stories, verses, and inspiring stories. The platform has a strong community to rely on, to comfort in tribulation times, and to encourage each other in faith.”
